"First I want to say I love my You Pod 8x75! I bought the You Pod for my HVX200 and up until getting this great gizmo

I had such trouble using my HVX hand-held. I am a smaller female, and the HVX is heavy enough. But to try and make it work with other shoulder mounts and the HVX finder ( I had tried 3 others) has always been a challenge. (Once I got the You Pod I knew it was just right and ended up selling my Birns and Sawyer shoulder mount.) This is perfect!"

You Pod is great for HDV, XD Cam, DVCAM, Mini DV and other format cameras. Here are some of the models. Body Brace Support Assembly relieves the operator from much of the strain of supporting the camera in front of them. Weight of the camera is supported on the shoulder and by the lower pad. The length and angle of the vertical members are adjustable. The pad orientation and angle are also adjustable to find a comfortable landing (suggested near the waistline). Can extend up to 25" OAL and contracts to under 13" OAL to brace to chest or for storage. The assembly can be easily under slung and act as carry handle for comfortable low angle operation. The lower pad has multiple 1/4"-20 mounting option for additional accessories. The vertical member joint has a movable 1/4-20 pin that can establish many fixed angles which are reinforced to eliminate the possibility of slippage. Bearing seats are nested at the ends again to eliminate slippage. By loosening the lever and slightly withdrawing the bearing you become free to adjust the overall length.

The bracket set allows for vertical centering adjustment to move to the appropriate vertical relationship to the lens axis (different cameras have different lens axis height from the camera base). Vertical adjustment is secured by a single 1/4"-20 screw. Mounts to You Pod #8X75 with a single 1/4"-20 screw.

SLR stop plate. Mounts onto You Pod #8X75 creating an edge stop or brace to restrain the camera from rotational play on the You Pod. In other words it makes a positive mount without slippage or play. Comes with the necessary 1/4"-20 screw.

Accessory Clamp Bracket with 2 holes. The open ended hole allows clip on attachment to a rod without disassembly. This provides quick on and off of lightweight accessories. The through hole clamp provides a more positive mounting trapped to the assembly. Retained 1/4"-20 mount screw quickly mounts your accessory or auxiliary camera.
